In 1973, the Agriculture Council of America (ACA) and the National Ag Day program were started. In 2023, 50 years later, we're still celebrating Ag. So, how does one celebrate such a vitally important industry? Make a farm-to-table meal with your family, research agricultural issues affecting your region, share what agriculture means to you in a photo on social media (and tag us), throw a cook-off party with your friends and incorporate ingredients your state is known for, check out local farms or dairies in your area that offer tours - the possibilities are endless! How will you celebrate Ag today?

There is a Graze 300 meeting next Thursday, February 23rd at the Bland Fellowship Hall. This meeting will educate producers on the benefits and approach to achieving a 300 day grazing season. Dinner is at 6:00PM and the meeting is at 6:30PM. The cost is $6.00 per person. RSVP to the Bland County Extension Office by Tuesday, February 21st. 🐮🌾🚜
