We are successfully incubating rare Sicilian buttercups! Very exciting! The Sicilian Buttercup is a rare, heritage chicken breed from Sicily, Italy, known for its unique, cup-shaped comb and golden-buff plumage with black spangles, especially in females. They are active, excellent foragers, heat-tolerant, and lay small white eggs, but are flighty and do not adapt well to confinement, making them best for free-range setups. The breed is listed as threatened by the American Livestock Conservancy. Check out our other hatching eggs on eBay!
