If you still have a spot or two left in your garden, try something new like a black beauty tomato (early producer), a great white tomato (perfect for a BLT), green zebra tomato (our favorite for fresh eating), some different hot peppers, basil with a cinnamon flavor, and more. With the third batch of Pig Pigs, one of the nine piglets ended up forgotten about off to the side, so Nova to the rescue! With help from Vanessa, she brought the little pig into the house to warm up under the bathroom heater, licked it off, gave it a little milk, and when it was warm and moving around, (reluctantly) gave it back to Pig Pig Mom. Nova is the best helper with baby animals that need some TLC. 🥰

Today we introduce Bernice and her heifer calf Evie. This was her first calf and they needed a bit of help figuring out how to nurse so we brought them up to the barn. After getting the calf latched onto Mom, they knew what to do.
