Another week off from baking means there won’t be any fresh baked goods stocked in the farmstand this week. ❤️

This little break has been filled with barn projects, soaking up every bit of summer with my kiddos and squeezing in a few doctor’s appointments (including another iron infusion 🙌) for the surrogate pregnancy I’m carrying. And man, is that iron giving me some renewed energy!

As much as I miss baking weekly, I’m grateful for this season of slowing down, making memories and taking care of my health before the busy months ahead.

Thank you all for your patience and continued support of our little farmstand. It truly means so much to our family. I can’t wait to get back in the kitchen and fill the shelves with fresh sourdough and goodies again soon! 🥖

It finally happened… I baked too much! 🤯

For the first time in a while, I have more fresh baked goodies than what we could sell the last couple days!

That means all baked goods in the stand are 50% OFF through tomorrow!

Sometimes you have to trade flour for a paint sprayer. 🤍

I decided to take this week off from baking but then decided to start painting our barn, and it’s been keeping me plenty busy! Now that the fun part of the milk house is done… the big work of painting the rest of the barn is set to begin! I’m so excited to see it all come together and can’t wait to share the finished project. And get some cute planter boxes hung up! 🥰

With that said, ordering is now OPEN for next week’s bake!

I’ll also be taking one more week off during the last week of July, so if you’ve been thinking about stocking up, now is a great time to place your order.

Looking ahead, there will also be a couple of weeks in August when we won’t be baking, so I recommend planning ahead if you have favorite items you don’t want to miss.

Pre-orders have been filling incredibly fast lately, and many items have been selling out quickly. If there’s something specific you want, be sure to place your order as soon as possible before it’s gone!

A little heads up… I don’t have a scheduled bake planned for next week. I may end up making a few things, but I can’t make any promises. With the forecast calling for a pretty high heat index, the AC is already going to be working overtime. Adding a 480° oven into the isn’t exactly friendly to the electric bill. I have a feeling the electricity tax write-off for the week might not be worth the time. Haha! 🫠

🇺🇸 Happy Fourth of July 🇺🇸

Today I’m feeling so incredibly thankful.

Thankful for the freedom we get to celebrate today on this 250th year of our country. Thankful for this farmstand that started as a dream and has grown beyond what I believed possible. Thankful for every loaf of bread and every person who has chosen to support our family.

This weekend’s bake sold out… and while empty shelves aren’t always convenient, they’re a reminder of God’s faithfulness. He has continued to provide for our family through this little farm in ways I never could have imagined.

To everyone who has shared a post, stopped by the stand, placed an order, told a friend or simply encouraged me along the way, thank you. Your support means more than you’ll ever know.
