NEED YOUR 2 CENTS 😋…

Come September I’m putting set hours on the farm stand. I’m holding myself accountable to making sure I put in the work and have a set schedule to make sure flowers are available for you!

But I need to know when you would come out to grab some flowers? Is it on a Tuesday evening? Saturday Sunday mornings??

Pumpkin patch 2026 has flowers!!!

This was totally an experiment and I actually only paid for the buckwheat seed (the little white flowers).

Turns out I had some reward points to redeem from MIgardener… so girl math says this pumpkin patch was free lol.

I mean I did have all my labor, sweat, crimping the buckwheat down with a 15+ lb baby on my back… then I planted it… watered it… you get the gist 😂

Regardless of how I got the seeds… they’re growing! They’re flowering and I’m crossing my fingers hoping to have some pretty pumpkins 🎃!!!

So totally obsessed with how great these dried flowers are looking!!! Who knew our downstairs storage room is perfect for drying flowers.

(Plus there is so much space down there!)

I’ve been putting together dried bouquets 💐 and my wheels are already turning for next year’s crop plan. It’ll be fun to grow with our dried flowers in mind.

I’m starting to lean into products that we can hold onto longer. Selling a perishable product is not for the weak.

(If the last time you got your woman flowers was Mother’s Day… it would definitely benefit you and her to come get some flowers today! Because there is no better than reason than a random Saturday in August—because you’re thoughtful!)

This patch of flowers is getting ready to POP!!! Tons of different dahlias and every time a new one blooms I am over the moon.

If you love tons of fluffy, intricate flowers 💐 that are literally mesmerizing you will love dahlias:

Some of them last longer than others but they make up for short vase life with how beautiful they are.
There’s nothing quite like them.

So hard to believe that our growing season is almost over.

September will be our final month for fresh flowers and anything past that is up in the air.

I’ve seen the golden rod and rudbeckia triloba blooming and that tells me fall isn’t far off.

Here on the farm we are thinking towards next season. Spring preparations are underway. And I’m making plans of have armloads of spring goodness (like the sweet William pictured).

It’s so interesting to grow things for a business bc unlike many other industries we really have to be patient. We can’t just go to the store to by more ingredients or materials.

We break ground, plant seeds, water and w**d. Waiting months and months before even seeing the fruits of our labor. Then we hope to sell what we’ve worked so hard to grow with no guarantee of any harvest.

Your support and with every bouquet or u pick purchased helps up continue to farm and grow another season.

Saturday we open our u pick tickets for September. We have been working diligently throughout the hottest parts of the summer to tend these flowers. And it’s all been for these first and last u picks!!

Keep your eyes out bc the tickets open at 11:11 Saturday morning and spots are limited!

We can’t wait to have you at the farm!
