God has put it on our hearts to slow down and focus on what’s right in front of us. We love selling y’all the best eggs and chicken you can find, but it’s time we take a step back and focus on our family. I love seeing the animals heal the land while also providing us with nutrient dense food. Check out these pictures. It goes from 3 ft tall weeds to lush greens in about a months time. These chickens (100) lay down about 20lbs of fertilizer per day. To many that would be an issue but to us it's a solution.

Youth Artist and Growers day has been rescheduled!

The Young Artist's and Grower's Day at the Bloomington Community Farmers' Market that was scheduled for tomorrow, July 1 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. has been rescheduled for Saturday, August 5. This difficult decision was made due to tomorrow's forecast for more storms.

Tomorrow (July 1st) is Youth Artists and Growers Day at the Bloomington, IN farmers market! Savanna has made some items to sell and is so excited to share them with y’all. Of course, Austin will be there too with our yummy eggs and chicken! We hope to see you there!

Growing our own food is something that Austin and I have grown very passionate about. We give our animals a great life with lots of pasture, high quality feed, and for the pigs, lots of belly rubs. I’m grateful we had the opportunity to raise this pig and can feed our family with it.
Do you know how most store bought pigs are raised? 😳

Fun Fact: we give our customers the best eggs that our chickens lay, so that means that we keep the odd balls. Like the ones that are too big for the carton or too small like this fairy egg. Did you know that sometimes a chicken will lay a fairy egg with no yolk!? It’s true!
