I was raised in the small town of Bloomfield, while my wife is from a larger city which is Springfield, Missouri. We have 6 children, who at different times help with our stand, as does my mom, when not working in her own concession stand. What had started out as a trial run as a part of my mom’s concession stand known as Momma Mary’s Kitchen out of Bloomfield, has grown to be a weekly endeavor. We love selling the Shake-Ups and serving the community. Since we started making Fresh Squeezed Shake-Ups, we have become known to many regular customers who can’t get enough of the taste that is refreshing. Many have told us that our Fresh Squeezed Shake-Ups beat the local fairs and festivals, and that keeps them coming back. We offer refills at a fraction of the price, which many love this idea. I use our Fresh Squeezed Shake-Up stand as a way to reach out to people and connect with other vendors to build strong relationships in the community, and have often bartered Shake-Ups for their products, as what was customary a long time ago amongst neighbors. We use real lemons, and we take pride in our effort and that combination is heavenly. Our motto is this, “LIFE’S LEMONS ARE MADE TO BE SQUEEZED.” So next time you are out and you see our stand, stop in and say hello, and grab a Fresh Squeezed Shake-Up made fresh on the spot, you won’t be sorry you did.
