Well… despite our May Lansing Corners Market being canceled, the ad made it into the Shopper anyway (long story involving vacation timing 😅), so if you saw the ad and were planning to come out, I wanted to let everyone know there will not be a market this month due to lack of vendor availability.

BUT please still make a trip to Lansing Corners Bar and Grill and show them some love! Grab a meal, enjoy some dessert, and support this wonderful local spot that so generously hosts us. ❤️

I hate we couldn’t make a market happen this month, but rather than let the ad go to waste, let’s use it as a reminder to support a great local business. Thank you all for understanding, and we’ll be back in the fall with market dates!

Into the oven they go… 🍫🍞

Double Chocolate loaves baking today, and I’m extra excited because this is my first loaf made with pudding in the dough — I cannot wait to see how soft and rich it makes the bread.

These are looking so pillowy and beautiful already. If they taste as good as they smell, this may become a repeat recipe real fast. 😍

First time trying pudding in bread dough… and I have a feeling I’m about to be converted.

Let’s talk about this marshmallow fluff for a second…

If you know me, you know I’m pretty firmly anti corn syrup in my baked goods.
And unfortunately… my super delish oatmeal cream pies just are NOT the bomb without that soft, dreamy fluff filling.

So what’s a girl to do?

…make it herself, obviously 😏

Cue me in the kitchen, confidently starting this process like I had everything under control —
and then suddenly realizing I’ve created something that is equal parts perfection and absolute chaos.

Because WOW.
This stuff is next level sticky.

I’m talking:
• strings from bowl to counter
• spatula held hostage
• fluff on my hands… that somehow ends up on my elbow??
• my shirt stuck to the bowl while I'm trying to remove the fluff
• definitely questioning my life choices halfway through

BUT… 👀
Look at it. That shine. That fluff. That soft, pillowy perfection.

Worth it?
Absolutely.

And now those oatmeal cream pies?
Yeah… they’re about to be next level.

If you see me later covered in powdered sugar, just know I made good decisions 😂
