Got spot spraying that needs done? Give us a call! Drone season is right around the corner. Last year, we sprayed a few fields for area farmers where the ground sprayers just couldn't go without getting stuck. If you or someone you know has a field or 2 like that, contact Pat 507 456 6078

For drone guys, we are definitely lacking on the drone photography. I haven't made any tic toks, or reels in my life. But dont worry, my sister and Jake the drone guys wife Megan decided to branch out and put her talents to work. Give her page a follow and check out what shes up to. Maybe she will even make some cool content for her technology challenged brother.

Rooted in agriculture, Katch Above Drone Imagery captures farms, homes, and small-town views from above.

From fields to Main Street, we’re here to help you see your place from a whole new perspective.

We have been busy the last couple days getting our corn crop sprayed. Tonight was a pleasant surprise. The chick fila truck was in blooming prairie, so we got town food for supper. Now back to it!

I posted a few weeks ago that we had a bad accident involving one of Our grain bins. Today we decided its time to get the sidedraw fixed so we can start emptying it. I learned 2 things from this job.
1. The drone trailer comes in handy for jobs that require multiple people 10 feet in the air.
2. The impact punctured 2 bin sheets 15 feet in the air. This wasn't visible from the ground looking up. Its never a good sign when you can see corn through a bin wall.
Time to get this bin empty so we can begin the process of fixing the bin before harvest.

The acres are winding down. We have been no till drilling beans for ourselves as well as some neighboring farmers for the last week. While it doesnt look like much now, give it a few weeks and these fields will be green with new growth. About half of our soybean acres every year are done like this. Saves time, fuel, and keeps the soil covered.

Were getting towards the homestretch. This is the last farm that needs tillage- its all no till acres to do. Here's Jim-the bossman himself running the tractor on the original O'Connor home farm. This farm has been farmed continuously by an O'Connor since 1858. How's that for a legacy farm?

Planting corn into a green cover today. This farm is our best catch of cover crop seeded last fall. This field received hog manure, then got this cover seeded to help with soil health and nutrient capture. We are learning more every year that we do this.
