This week’s featured market is the Music & Farmers Market in the Park, hosted by Wurtsboro Board of Trade sponsored by the Village of Wurtsboro and Orange & Rockland. The market takes place at Veterans’ Park, located at 3rd & Sullivan Street in Wurtsboro, NY 12790. Every Thursday from 5 to 8 PM through September 24th.

This Week at the Market: This year at the market, we will have local in season vegetables, fruit, herbs, eggs, maple syrup, pork, honey, goat cheese, baked goods, prepared foods, hard cider and locally made skin care products, and much more!

Pure Catskills members include: Two Farms Brewing & Winterton Farms

What to Expect: Bring your chairs and blankets! Music starts at 6pm

VOLUNTEERS WANTED 🌿

We’re looking for a few friendly faces to help us bring the Lavender Festival & Artisan Market to life June 27–28 at Winterton Farms!

We need help with:
• Parking & guest welcome
• Kids activity area
• Setup & cleanup
• Floaters/runners during the event
• Social media/photo help

Short shifts available — no need to volunteer all day.

Perfect for:
• Students needing volunteer hours
• Community groups
• Friends of the farm
• Anyone who loves local events and supporting small businesses

Volunteers will receive:
• Free non-alcoholic drinks during their shift
• Volunteer snack & water station access
• A free drink voucher for Two Farms Brewing after their shift (21+)

Happy New Year from Winterton Farms 🤍

While the calendar has turned and the new year has officially begun, here on the farm everything is moving a little more quietly.

Our lavender is tucked in beneath a soft blanket of snow, resting.
Our maple trees stand still, patiently waiting for the moment sap begins to rise again.

Winter on the farm isn’t about rushing forward — it’s about slowing down.

This season is for rest, reflection, and restoration. For letting the land (and ourselves) breathe before the next burst of growth. If you’re feeling the pressure to start fresh, set big goals, or have everything figured out already — let this be your reminder that nature doesn’t work that way either.

Slow and steady is enough.
Rest is productive.
There will be time for momentum.

We’ll see you in the spring — the season of awakening, growth, and new beginnings.

That’s when the seeds you’ve been quietly tending will start to show themselves 🌱
