Next up, meet Lee's Sweet Tooth. Coming in at about $25 per tuber, this dahlia is a beauty and will definitely be a keeper for next year as I build stock. I have made some incredible dahlia farmer friends over the past 5 years and I am so grateful for them. I don't partake in the dahlia wars to get particular dahlias. I love making strong connections/ friendships with fellow farmers. Sometimes the bonus of these friendships result in amazing dahlias.

If you're new to dahlias there is quite the following in the US and abroad. There are hundreds, if not thousands of varieties and they're growing each year. One of my goals is to hybridize a dahlia and name it after my daughter because she is jealous there is already one with her brother's name.

Skeena Glitter is a new dahlia variety this year! I love her already. Not the greatest pictures but as you know I am a sucker for a good blush/pink. This particular dahlia is $27-$30 per tuber. She shimmers and sparkles in the light.

I went down to look at the dahlias today and am blown away by all of the ones that need cut again. So get ready for the week/weekend. Hoping to sell at The Coffee Shop in Richmond on Thursday but we shall see. I have arrangements regularly available at my stand every day in the meantime for $10 each.

10/11 Sunday. Here a few pictures of the winner's pumpkin bouquet. Now that I am caught up on the arrangements I had to make I will put out some wrapped arrangements at my farm stand at 2:30. $15 each as they were all just cut yesterday. Enjoy what is left of the weekend everyone!

10/10 Saturday. I was able to get 7 wrapped arrangements done. That will be all for today The Coffee Shop in Richmond. Thank you so much everyone. To all the kids going to Homecoming today, I hope you have a wonderful time!! The coffee shop is open until 4pm today.

Yesterday I tried their new German chocolate Mocha iced coffee and it was delicious! I also had a sausage burrito from 4th street standard and it was AMAZING!! The perfect grab and go breakfast for when you're in a hurry.

Thank you all so much for participating! You are all a huge reason of why I grow and arrange flowers! I have 3 arrangements to make tonight if I have flowers left after thise and the pumpkin arrangements I will have flowers at The Coffee Shop in the morning but I wasn't expecting to sell out today and even made extras and put them there today to be able to cover part of Sunday. You all amaze me. Thank you so much.

For the last guessing game of the season, how many stems of flowers do you think are in this Lowe's bucket? Closest one without going over will win a pumpkin arrangement to be picked up either in Richmond on Saturday or at my house on Saturday or Sunday. May the odds forever be in your favor. To qualify you must like, comment, and share my post. Making it a little more difficult this time since the pumpkin arrangements take me a long time. For those who have asked I am not taking anymore pumpkin arrangement orders this season unless you want to pay $100. They are very time consuming and require a lot of time and elements for them to last. Now if you want to pay $100 shoot me a private message 😉.

6 Lowe's bucket's later. I think I cut the majority 😂. I have a few preorder events but I am really aiming to take wrapped arrangements to The Coffee Shop in Richmond tomorrow. If anything changes I will let you know. After arranging for that if I'm able to do any for my farm stand I will let you all know. This is 1 of the last cuts I will be doing before frost and they are all gone so get them this weekend while you can! If you are last minute and couldn't get an arrangement for your child to go to homecoming you could make one yourself out of these bouquets. If you can't afford flowers for your child please send me a private message and I will see what I can do for you. I do not like doing homecoming bouquets but could swing something cheap or free for you if you need it. I want your kids to have a great time! Thank you all for such an amazing year thus far. Next year I'm going to have to hire some help as I can't keep up with it all no matter how hard I try 😂. After frost comes the big dig and divide. Digging up and dividing over 1,000 dahlias is A LOT. I will have a fall sale for dahlia tubers probably late October so stay tuned for that!
