Wow....big storms last evening! Hail...lightening...thunder...wind...beautiful. We had 3 inches of rain since noon yesterday. We still need more.

It was a beautiful day of making syrup yesterday. Several people stopped in to see and visit...always nice.

I won't be cooking today, but should be all day Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. I'll post when I'm there. You're welcome anytime. We won't have syrup to sell yet, as we're still filling orders, but you're welcome to the experience.

Peace, my friends. We've had a good soaking...more to come...warmer temperatures even in a few days.

Ahhhh.....a beautiful morning for a fire in the log cabin. 22 degrees...trace of snow on the ground...strong breeze...not a sound to be heard. Beautiful.

Cold days ahead it sounds like...serious cold Monday. Now if I can just make myselfntake advantage of having to stay inside a couple of days, there are sure plenty of things to deal with.

I suppose if I have things hanging in my closet that I haven't worn for awhile... like maybe 20 years or so... I could probably let them go...maybe. But you realize, as soon as I do, I'll need that tomorrow.

Take inventory in your life, too. Sometimes we hang on to things...or people... that we just shouldn't anymore. It's tough...they're not a problem...they don't "cost" anything...they're just there.

I'm not good at throwing things...people...away that aren't a problem. Not sure that's a bad thing.

Peace, my friends. Find the good...celebrate the good...appreciate the good.
