Hello all! First of all,I want to say thank you to everyone that has followed our page, liked our page, and supported our small business in it's infancy. I started Blooming Boxes (though it didn't have name at the time) 3 years ago because I missed having a job. I had a new little baby at home and wanting to find a way to make homemade items and make a little extra money on the side.

I started making soaps and really enjoyed it. Then a neighbor posted that they wanted to host a craft fair in our rural area and invited others to sell their products. I didn't have much to offer, so I looked into other bath products I could make from home.

I started adding shower fuzzies, chapsticks, and finally, the ever popular lotion bar. Then I made the decision to compile them all together in gift boxes. Blooming Boxes was born!

But as many know, starting a business of any kind includes a lot of mistakes, wrong turns, and redirection. Last year my sweet baby boy turned into a full blown temper tantrum toddler. I lost nap time, and the rest of the day was spent trying not to lose my mind while my son lost his.

Blooming Boxes was a bit of an afterthought last year. I had some amazing customers who supported me and pushed me to keep going. As we move into 2024, my toddler is no longer a tyrant, he has started a play school that he loves for a few hours a week, and I have a renewed sense of self and purpose for this year.

I have made the decision to delete the Blooming Boxes page and use our farm page Little Raccoon Creek Farm for all our different business ventures. It makes much more sense to have one big umbrella for all the different things we do and sell instead of trying to balance a bunch of different pages. I hope this year bring a lot of big changes to Blooming Boxes. The biggest of them all I hope will be to provide much more information, videos, pictures, and conversations about my products. So excited to show off the new shower fizzies we will have at the craft fair on June 3rd. Lots of fun scents: peppermint eucalyptus, freesia, sandalwood cypress, lavender, and a new mermaid rainbow one!!!!! $3.00 each and they make shower time so much fun! I am a little obsessed with them.

We loved all your opinions and thoughts on our new logo. Made a couple changes to the font and I think we have a winner!!!! We love it so much and can't wait to get stickers/wraps ordered!!!

Want to know what is curing my winter blues? Blooming Boxes lotion bar. I got so tired of spending way too much money on lotions and not feeling like my hands were hydrated during the winter. This lotion bar solves my issues with chapped and cracked hands. I leave it by the sink so I never forget to reapply. Individually it is $8.00 or can come packaged with other goodies in our customizable Blooming Boxes . Comes in a variety of scents but my current favorite is vanilla bean coffee. Makes me feel so cozy!

Small business Saturday!!!! Help us with our new business and buy local!!! Just finished with some Vanilla Bean Coffee Boxes and Sandalwood Cypress lotion bars for the men in your life. My anti lotion husband used the lotion bar last night and loved it so much! It was a total win!

Finally announcing the true opening of Blooming Boxes!!!! We are a small, family run business dedicated to delivering beautiful, fresh, and homemade bath products. Currently we have two sized boxes. The larger is BATH IT UP BOX ($45) which features a bath bomb, a shower fizzy, chapstick, soap, bath salts, and a lotion bar. The SKIN SOFTENER BOX ($25) holds a chapstick, a soap, and a lotion bar. We are able to accommodate most custom orders if there is a scent you prefer and we can ship for an additional charge. So proud to finally have made it this far!!! It was a large learning curve and plenty of mistakes were made, but we are confident we have a fun, unique, and skintastic product! We also sell many of our items individually so please inquire if you have questions. Lots of info and pictures to come.
