We’re doing a flower delivery run this Thursday! Snag one of our Sunset Lisianthus Arrangements before they’re gone!

35+ lisianthus blooms arranged in a 6” ombré vase. Tones of yellow, peach, pink, and white remind us of a summer sunset. Don’t be fooled by the delicate ruffles. Lisianthus are extremely tough and will last at least 2 weeks in the vase. Includes delivery to any Bloomington, IN zip code. Arrangement will be delivered on Thursday 8/11/22 from 7-8pm. Gift tag with personal message available upon request. $75 each

Grow along with us this summer! We have three sets of extra seedlings needing a home.

Each set includes: 1 cafe au lait dahlia, 1 crème de cassis dahlia, 2 lisianthus (colors vary), 1 pink star tomato, and 1 sungold cherry tomato (my favorite tomato on the planet!)

Disclaimer: These don’t come with growing instructions. You’ll need to do your own research or I’d be happy to answer any questions you have. Also, some of the lower leaves of the dahlias have holes due to slug damage. The newer leaves are fine and the plants should thrive. I would plant them in my own garden. They just don’t look “nursery perfect”.

Sets are $30 each. For pickup from our farm on the south side of Bloomington. DM me to claim one before they’re gone!

Today Novy asked me what Valentines Day is, and I told him it’s a special day to tell people we love them! 💕

I have just one arrangement up for grabs this year. 30+ stems of dried flowers, eucalyptus, and grasses in a ceramic vase. Includes delivery to any Bloomington address, or farm pickup can be arranged. Tell someone you love them with this everlasting arrangement they can enjoy for months!

5 months of Isla Rose 🥰 I don’t know how I ever lived without her! She’s finally sleeping through the night 🙌🏻 and getting sweeter by the day.

I gave her a bunch of dried celosia this month, which she immediately destroyed. I was able to snap these few hurried pics before stopping to fish celosia seeds out of her eye, ear, and nose. Stay tuned for next month’s addition of babe vs blooms.

Once 50% of your seeds have germinated, it’s time to remove the tray from the heat mat and pop them under some grow lights. I bought these bulbs from Menards and put them into regular shop light fixtures.

Make sure to keep the lights about 2” above your seedlings. This ensures that they don’t move around searching for the light and become “leggy”. My lights hang from chains so I can move them up and down as needed.

At this point you’ll need to water your soil blocks daily by pouring water directly into the tray. Give them enough water that the blocks look moist all the way from the bottom to the top. Carefully dump out any water that remains on the tray once they’ve soaked it up - you don’t want them sitting in a puddle!

Fertilize with fish emulsion once every 2 weeks to keep them happy. I dilute according to package directions and pour into trays exactly as if I were watering them for the day.

Before you know it your babies will be big enough to plant out in the garden! 👏🏻

4 months with my best gal! She’s growing into such a lil squish. 🥰 This month she has a sprig of rosemary. It can survive the harshest of winters and is literally the only green thing in the garden right now. I love using it as a sweet-smelling bouquet filler and obviously for cooking as well. There were lots of attempted taste tests this time. 😬 Whose idea was it to hand this baby flowers every month anyway??
