Some really neat footage of several of our breeders & their calves / kids at the recent Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo. Great to see more exposure of the fine quality animals our shows are simply chocked-full of these days!

Very pleased that we had the opportunity to exhibit for the first time at the Indiana State Fair yesterday. Thank you to all the participants for making the first show a success, and here's hoping for this being the first installment of many successful shows there in the future as we continue to grow and gain numbers.

Had a great show once again at NAILE this past week. Teamed up with RFD Miniature Herefords and exhibited a string we were very proud of. With Alan Carmichael, Jessica Carmichael, Debra Flohr, Amy Clark Sciano, Donna Harden White , Kevin/Ryen/Cheryl Hester Kerr.

Update: These two females are SOLD. Thanks everyone for your interest.

With multiple daughters in our herd as replacements; we're offering two of our foundation cows for sale. These girls are getting some age on them, but show no signs of slowing down. Both are verified bred to our Herd Bull KAP Rainy Kid Joe. Here are KAP Princess Ivy and KAP Gypsy Zigana Meyer. If you're interested in some proven, supremely gentle, easy-keeping females with great track-records and some production left in them, look no further. We truly love these girls and appreciate their contributions to our program, we're simply freshening up our genetics and going to be moving forward with their daughters as our next phase foundation.
Ivy's Reg # is 42498242. Her DOB is 07/02/04. She's a King Henry Daughter and has produced us a string of really good calves. She's offered bred and due in July. The picture here was just taken in February.
Zigana's Reg # is 42638166. Shes a 07/19/05 and is pictured here this past November showing with her '14 calf C&C's Gypsy Rain Yale. At 9, she's obviously held up fantastically, showed very well and was Reserve Champion Cow/Calf pair at Louisville. Zigana is an Oscar Meyer daughter and has produced several great calves for us including the High-Selling Animal on the 2014 Central National Miniature Hereford Sale at Iowa Beef Expo and the Dam of the Reserve Grand Bull at Louisville last year. She herself was Division Reserve for us at both the Denver and Houston shows as a heifer.
Please let us know if you're interested in these ladies, they're sure to provide some great calves this year and their future beyond still looks pretty bright. We know no matter where they go, we're sure they'll provide something special just like they have for us all these years!!

This is C&C's Little Miss Victoria. She's a February 25th '14 we're proud to be offering on the 2nd Annual MHBA Central National Miniature Hereford Sale held by Conover Auction Service at the Iowa Beef Expo upcoming in February. Victoria was Reserve Champion Spring Heifer Calf at NAILE in November and continues to progress very well. We're super pleased with her and feel strongly that she'll make a premier addition to a showstring and/or breeding program for whomever purchases her. Proud of the whole crew fro another successful outing at last week's NAILE Miniature Hereford Show. This bull is out of a female from Cream and Crimson Cattle Co and TAC Striker JB2 ET owned by RFD Farms, Miniature Herefords . Congrats to Gary and Cindy Abell Chesser!! All tolled, Cream and Crimson Cattle, RFD, and the Chesser's had nine class winners, Three Division Champs, Two Division Reserves, and Reserve Grand Bull. A wonderful day by any measure. Special thanks to Alan Carmichael, Jessica Carmichael, Amy Clark Sciano, Kevin Kerr, and everyone else involved for all their hard work. On to Denver!
