🎃🚗 WE DESPERATELY NEED TRUNKS! 🚗🎃

Our FIRST-EVER Green Top Grocery Trunk or Treat is coming up Thursday, October 29 from 5:30–7:30 PM, and we need more local businesses, organizations, families, and community members to help us make it a HUGE night for the kids! 👻🍬

So far, we have some awesome trunks and friends joining us, including:

With so much in the news lately about meat recalls, sourcing, and food safety, it’s understandable to want to know a little more about where your food comes from.

That’s one of the things we love about carrying local meat at GTG. We work with farmers and producers who are part of our local food system, giving you the opportunity to support the people raising food right here in our region. Buying local meat helps keep dollars in our community, supports family farms, strengthens our local food system, and gives you a closer connection to the people behind your food. 🌾🐄

And our local selection is just the beginning! We also carry a variety of brands we feel good about, including Miller Amish Poultry. 🍗

Miller Amish Poultry is known for its humanely raised, antibiotic-free chicken, with options including their air-chilled line.

So, what exactly does air-chilled mean? Instead of chilling chicken by immersing it in water, air-chilling uses cold air to bring the chicken down to temperature. That means no added water from the chilling process, helping preserve the chicken’s natural flavor and texture and giving you a beautifully fresh product for cooking. Miller's air-chilled chicken is also made without antibiotics and hormones or steroids.
