We had a lazy Sunday today and made our way over to my old stomping grounds (I was a part of the opening crew) to visit our friends at DESTIHL Restaurant. Their new special is this lovely braised pork shank over mash sweets with a decadent gravy and a few other surprises of crunchy candied pecans and a sprinkle of blue cheese. Braised dishes are one of the few things that get me excited for the fall, and this is one for the books. I'd recommend a little extra blue on the side. 😋
