The pride of showing a project that was born & raised on the farm, from a sow you raised is priceless. This cross gilt from ChrisandLindys farm is such a sweet gal. She’s built & has beautiful coloring. We are so blessed to have two barns full of born & raised FUG pigs for the kiddos this year.

Our gals & their animals did an amazing job this weekend!

What is our definition of an amazing job?

*The pigs showed up. They got on & off the trailer. They didn’t run around the arena.
*There were no meltdowns.
*The girls did their best. Truly. They’ve grown & matured in their showing over the last year.

We do not judge a good weekend on placement. Because at the end of the day, it’s about growth. If they did better than the last time, learned or exhibited something new, that is a win for us!!

Look Back at It on a Fall Guy x Call me Daddy sow. Dam was purchased from Mikesell Show Pigs. She was Champion Poland Gilt and 4th Overall Gilt at our county fair. A litter of 13 born, 13 weened. 333 Boar Stud. We are very happy with how they are growing.
