Started the week off BIG! We began harvesting 1 out of 12 beds of onions (I’m a little scared by the total quantity we have 😳). Several of these we will sell fresh while the others begin to cure.

We also began harvesting our nappa cabbages for in which they will process into sauerkraut over the next several weeks. It’s been really fun already working to supply like minded folks with local ingredients.

Wednesday we will be on our normal harvest schedule of hundreds of pounds of greens (salad mix, head lettuce, kale, chard, herbs, etc.)

Cheers!🥂

The team was at it again today planting fall potatoes!! This will be our first year with fall potatoes (hopefully) so fingers crossed they grow well during the heat of summer. Not shown here but we will continue to put old hay over these to bury them in.

Also snapped a photo of our spring brassica field and onion field that will be ready for harvest within the next few weeks!!

We hauled in and washed a TON of produce this week!! So many beets, lettuce, arugula, broccolini (yeah you head me 🤩), dill, cilantro, kohlrabi, rainbow chard, and a few gorgeous purple cauliflower…. So much effort, time, and attention put in across 5 farm hands.

We know the weather forecast isn’t looking perfect for tomorrow, HOWEVER we know that folks committed to our community and local farmers will show up in whatever the weather brings.

Thank you in advance for showing up when it matters the most and making a difference for not only our farm and crew members but the many others this weekend as well.

We will see you tomorrow rain or shine!!

The spring harvest is really coming in strong these days!!! The cooler temperatures, longer daylight, and consistent rain has really taken the stress off the plants as they grow bigger and bigger. While we continue to chomp our way through the spring harvest, we will also be busy trellising our summer tomato and peppers as well as tending to our summer carrots and potatoes.

✨✨Introducing Maeve’s Sourdough Bread!✨✨

We are excited to share that each week we will be offering 2 loaves of handcrafted sourdough bread, made by Maeve.

This bread has a soft, pillowy interior with a crisp crust. It is naturally fermented and great for sandwiches or just eating straight from the oven.

This is available NOW via our online store (see link to store in bio). Let us know if you are interested in having us ramp up production as we will have a limited quantity starting out.
