I didn't do anything to deserve this โ€” the sunrise, the squeals, the way new life just keeps showing up on this farm like it's nothing. But it's not nothing. Every good thing has a source, and it isn't me. It's Him, unchanging, generous, still giving.

Twenty-two guests, long farm tables, and a menu built straight from the land around us โ€” Kunekune pork three ways, Indiana sorghum, sweet corn, and bourbon, accompanied by more fire than we probably needed (but had anyway).
There's something about cooking outside, under the sky, for people who came ready to slow down and eat well together. Nights like this are why we do what we do.

๐ŸŒพ There's something sweet and sacred about still water. ๐ŸŒพ
This is our creek on a quiet day โ€” no rushing, no rising, just peace. It's hard to look at it this calm right now, knowing what so many of our neighbors have just been through. This past week, flooding tore through parts of Indiana and took everything from families who didn't see it coming. Homes. Belongings. A sense of safety that takes years to rebuild.
"He leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul." โ€” Psalm 23:2b-3a
We're holding this verse close right now โ€” and holding close the people we love who were in the middle of it. Thinking especially of our dear friends, Creek & Sarah Stewart of as well as many of our sweet customers in Broadripple and the greater Indianapolis area who suffered the loss of homes and belongings and even businesses.
Waters don't stay wild forever. Restoration comes. Christ uses all things to bring us to Him.

Good nutrition starts with the basics. ๐Ÿ‘๐ŸŒฑ

This year, we started using Vitalix sheep tubs to help support our herd through some of the most demanding stages of the year, including lactation, weaning, and breeding season.
