In the first picture from 2021, Baby Ruth poses with her calf Tootsie, who you all helped name. Now Tootsie has had her first calf, pictured in photos 2 & 3. Grateful for our neighbors who helped repair fencing this morning after a tree fell on the outer fence line all while the farmer is gone for the day and the farmers wife was running the ! Thanks to Thom & Jana of , Jess, RuthAnn for help with the fencing and Karrie of for stepping in at the BLFS! ❤️

Welcome 2026 pasture! The cows are enjoying being free to roam and love the fresh grass. If you listen closely at the end you can hear the crunch of the grass! It is quite satisfying!

This is Tootsie named after the candy Tootsie Roll. She is 5 years old. Her mom’s name was Baby Ruth, so we decided to stay with the theme. She is a bit feisty and will let you know if she wants to be left alone. But she is definitely a fun one to have! She also is going to be a first time mom so we are going to need some help finding a candy name for the baby to come! 🐂🐂

This is Stella. She is 4 years old. She is the 2nd smallest cow in our herd. She is not very friendly to people but is curious of what you are doing sometimes. She definitely is a pretty one to have!
