Please welcome Marty (Martha) to the barnyard! She has a young doe for a mom whose mom instincts have surprisingly kicked in. She’s protective, licks the baby, and seems to be letting her attempt to nurse.
Most young ones could care less!!

I bet not many people (except goat owners) have had the displeasure of doing a fence repair (so that the baby goats don’t escape again) and having your male bottle baby who is now 9 months old, try to sexually assault you! The large pruning shears came in handy as I had to put the handles around his neck to hold him until he snapped out of it! 🤯
