Our beef is born and raised on our farm so that we know/have records on every animal from birth to harvest. Each calf is given a vaccination for blackleg and w

ormer at certain times throughout their lifetime. All animals harvested through our freezer beef marketing program never receive any antibiotics, steroids, or artificial growth hormones. This ensures that our customers are receiving a high quality all natural product safe product for their families. Price calculated based upon current market price and sold by hanging weight. A typical hanging weight for our beef would be 550-850lbs.

*Take home weight will be slightly less than hanging weight due to trimming and deboning. Customers are responsible for their portion of processing based on cutting instructions per whole or half. Prices may be slightly higher if purchasing a quarter due to handling fees at the processing plant. Meat will be double wrapped in heavy duty freezer paper and labeled with the cut, date of processing, and state inspection seal. Processing would be $.52/lb. with a $75.00 killing/skinning fee and there will be extra fees for some cuts going into burger , cubing, and burger patties. These fees will be applied to the entire animal divided by the whole, half, or quarter depending on the amount purchased. Our beef typically hangs/ages between 14 and 21 days before processing. Cuts available may include: T-bone, Ribeye, Sirloin, Filet Minion, Porterhouse, Flank Steak, Round Steak, Cube Steak, Swiss Steak, Wedge Roast, Chuck Roast, Rump Roast, Hamburger, Liver, Stew Meats, Tongue. Steaks can be cut to ¾ or 1” thicknesses. Roasts are placed in 3lb. Hamburger can be put in 1 or 2lb. packages or made into square patties for an additional fee. Orders can be placed by calling (937) 779-0464 - ask for Bryan or emailing [email protected]. A $100.00 nonrefundable deposit will be required when the processing date is set. This will be deducted from the final total. The latest beef harvested on 6/6/12 had a hanging weight of 800lbs. After trimming and deboning each quarter cost around $4.96 per pound of actual take-home product. For a total of $570.00 per quarter. The following is a summary of the cuts and amounts of cuts per quarter: 3-Ribeye, 3-Tbone, 2-Filet Minjon,2 Sirloin, 6 Cube Steak,1 Swiss Steak, 2 Porter House,4 Chuck Roast, 1-Wedge Roast, 1-Rump Roast, 1-Rib Roast,
34 Hamburger, 2-Liver. All packages of steak included two steaks except the Filet and Porterhouse, the burger was placed in 1 pound packages and the roasts were 3-5 pounds each depending on the cut. Orders are currently being taken on a first –come first-served basis for beef going at the beginning and end of July. The price will be set at $2.20/lb of hanging weight plus processing fees.
