It’s been a sunflower focused weekend.

🌻 sowed sunflowers
🌻 removed 1500 feet of old sunflowers to prepare for spring planting
🌻harvested sunflowers
🌻 and tonight we will plant sunflowers

Sunnies are a big part of every day. Each Sunday we start 400-600 plants AND transplant 400-600 plants. Every night we cover them to protect them from the deer. If you’ve ever driven by and seen me in the field in my pajamas this is why 😂

Every morning Patrick harvests them at the ideal stage for the best vase life.

Later today we’re going to open sales for Bearcat Bundles that will include our fresh sunnies. These will be available to purchase for Tuesday’s open house. A great gift for students or staff. More to come!
