Everything has a beginning and an end. That's the way its supposed to be. Sadly, the end has come for Fannin Brewing. Ten years ago I had the goal of creating a brewery with a bier garten. A place for people to come with their family, friends, dogs and sit outside with a beer. Listen to some music, make new friends, and just generally have a wonderful time. To that end, I feel that I've accomplished what I set out to when I started. Fannin Brewing was the 26th brewery in the state. We had to sell you a glass with pours!, and no to go beer. Thankfully the law changed and we started to sell beer on site and to go. I was also able to contract the beer that I distributed which made that part of the business more feasible. But as time went on, more breweries opened and the overall interest in craft beer started to dip. In the last 12 months more than 10 breweries have closed in Georgia. I want to thank everyone who has come to Fannin Brewing, had a chat with me, supported the brewery and I hope had a great time. Last day is Sunday April 28th so in the meantime please come and have a last beer, get some beer to go,(I have crowler cans of everything), and pick up your mug if you have one. Thank you all for a great 10 years! Prosit, Tom
