True to her form of mischief, Katniss made us wait 5 days past her due date to kid. One doe and one buck. Now we get to do DNA test to see who the sire is since she decided AI wasn’t good enough and jumped in pen with buck the same evening. She is being a great first freshener so far.

Jimmy and Aubri are set up at first Monday in Ripley today with the last of the LGD pups we have. Both parents are working LGDs on our farm.

Recently we added to our herd. After we lost our dear friend, Susan Bain, Chris graciously allowed us to bring home these three girls.

Susan was always Aubri’s biggest fan. She was our cheerleader and confidence booster. She made me believe in myself even when I couldn’t fathom it. I pray we always do our best with these girls and hold them to the standard Susan dreamed for them.
