We want to clarify that we are not accepting catering, cafe, or meal prep orders until our Grand Opening for the new Graze Cafe, right next door to our current location.

We have had a huge increase in folks trying to place catering or online cafe orders, I understand the confusion and we appreciate the support, but we are currently closed until our grand opening!

We have always offered online ordering, however everything is paused while we deal with the cafe project next door.

The grand opening is TBD, possibly the end of this month or beginning of next.

Thank you for supporting us, we can’t wait to re-open our platforms so you all can order conveniently and we hope to see you in person in the cafe!

We are growing our team from 2 to 10 as our cafe operations are expanding! Coming soon we will be opening a new cafe right next door to our current location, our Grand Opening is TBD, but most likely happening in October. We would like to begin hiring and training new staff before we open the new cafe space to the public.

We are now hiring for the following positions & hours:

Cashier: Tuesday - Saturday | 9:30am-6:00pm (Full-Time)

Food Runner: Tuesday - Saturday | 11:00am-5:00pm (Full-Time)

Prep Cook: Tuesday - Saturday | 9:30am-6:00pm (Full-Time)

Line Cook: Tuesday - Saturday | 9:30am-6:00pm (Full-Time)

Dish/Utility: Tuesday - Saturday | 10:00am-6:30pm (Full-Time)

Onion Ring Prep Roles: Monday- Friday | 6pm-10pm (Part-Time)

✨ New Menus are Launching Soon!

Our new Graze Cafe, by Essential Eats Grazing, LLC will be opening in late October or early November, depending on construction timelines.

In the meantime, Chef Kayley has been working on new menus and ideas for Graze Cafe, Catering, and Meal Prep. Updates Below-

Graze Cafe:
-Offering indoor seating opens up new possibilities, like our new soup, salad, or sandwich flights!
-Board Games for Guests to Play & Dine
-Community Board for Postings/Ads
-"Take A Book, Leave A Book" Book Shelves in Cafe for Community
-New Air fried fresh onion rings, new panini sandwiches, and new breakfast items for the late breakfast/brunch crowd will be available daily for pick-up, delivery, or dine-in
-Affordable Kids meal options have been created as well
-(Considering Door Dash??)- Mixed feelings about this platform, if anyone has anyone feedback, we would appreciate it!

Catering:
-Expanding to offer items on Saturdays for pick-up or delivery (Previously reserved only for off-site catering events).
-New Breakfast items!
-New Group Catering options!
-We have always offered rentals for events and parties like Corn Hole, a Hexagon Wedding Arch, Easy-Up Rental, etc..., we should advertise this more often!

Meal Prep:
-New Specials with Vegan & Vegetarian Options!

(Update*** Thank you everyone for your honest feedback and opinions, we appreciate you all and your continued support. The community here matters greatly to us and we truly value your trust in us).

We have been conflicted about an opportunity that was presented to us and we would like to get your feedback in the community.

We did not start this company to solely make money- my intention is to provide healthy, scratch made food to the community (as affordable as humanly possible to keep the business afloat).

Nebius is building a data center in Independence. They have asked us to provide meals for 100-200 people on a monthly basis for the construction crew.

I love cooking for people and making food that makes people happy, so that’s my only intention.

We want your feedback, because this data center is highly controversial, and our sole purpose is to serve the community in a positive and impactful way, not one that may cause harm.

✨Special Announcement 📣 New Cafe Coming Soon!

Essential Eats Grazing, LLC is excited to announce that we are in the process of expanding our operations to include an indoor cafe, right next door to our current location!

What does this mean?

-Catering operations will continue to be in Unit H and resume as normal. We will continue to offer grazing tables, office catering, platters, boxed lunches, and much more for catered events, pick up, or delivery.

-New Cafe with indoor seating and board games will be in Unit G (to the left of our current space)

-Cafe will expand to include scratch-made hot soups, handmade- fresh onion rings, our signature sandwiches & salads, charcuterie boxes, and a few select desserts, made to order. We will also offer snacks, beverages, and meal prep offerings for Grab n’ Go.

Our ordering platforms are all paused right now for the foreseeable future until we get to the point where we have staff, a finished cafe space, and the bandwidth to take on more orders after wedding season is over soon.

Right now it’s currently Tyler and I running our business on our own and we are ready to begin hiring in the next few weeks. If you know of anyone who has multiple years of foodservice experience, we would be interested in seeing a resume and potentially interviewing if this seems like a good fit.
