Thursdays on the mountain only mean one thing … the weekend is near!

The forecast is looking extra spectacular and the fall foliage has made it’s way to Bluemont! 🍂🍁

Here’s a few tips & tricks to enjoy a visit during peak season:
🍁 plan ahead! Make reservations if you’re able (they’re only available at 11:00 am but so worth it to beat the crowds!)
🍁 leave time for parking upon arrival
🍁 check in with hosting staff for an update on service details
🍁 opt for wine by the bottle or glass vs. waiting for a tasting flight
🍁 bring your own blanket or chairs in case the patio is full
🍁 sip back and relax soaking up all that Virginia Wine Country has to offer!

During peak season, it is busy! But we want to ensure you enjoy your visit, always.

Our team has worked hard to make adjustments in our service with hopes of accomplishing just that.

Last week, we had the honor of hosting the annual awards ceremony at The Stable 🏆✨

If you’ve visited us in the last 6 years, chances are you’ve met Corey, though it’s hard to say which hat he could be wearing that day. He’s either rocking a chef hat and helping direct back of house operations, or leading a tour and tasting in production, or supporting our production team and moving wine inventory, sometimes he’s down at our sister property or helping with their daily operations, sometimes he’s working the ‘pour bar’ and he pumps out glass after glass of Virginia wine and sets the timing of service for the whole tasting room.

When asked about an accomplishment that makes him the most proud….he shares that his team and their efforts are what he’s most proud of.

He’s incredibly humble as he plays an integral part of our Leadership Team. We couldn’t be more proud to support him in being part of this years 40 Under 40 class! 👏

Weekend forecast, 100% chance of wine! 🍷

This weekend come enjoy a classic Virginia white wine. The Viognier, or as we call it, The Goat, is a perfect representation of a Virginian varietal. Opening with light floral notes the 2022 Viognier has flavors of orange peel, candied ginger and baking spices. Slightly acidic, this wine pairs beautifully with grilled chicken or Italian inspired dishes.

The 2022 Viognier is available to everyone. This whimsical Virginia wine is well worth a visit to Virginia Wine Country, and stop by for a little and enjoy a bite to eat from our diverse menu options in the heart of the mountains.

We heard your concerns and our seasonal burrata is back and even more delicious than before! It includes a fresh peach and tomato bruschetta picked from our Farm and a carbolious french baguette sourced locally. 😋

& make it a match with our recommended pairing, The Farm Table White. The acidity of balsamic glaze and sweetness from our farm picked peaches is extenuated by the Farm Tables light oakiness and hints of vanilla.

Though we are SOLD OUT for the evening events at all venues, we are open all day long! This perfectly crusted dog is enough to satisfy anybody this Fourth of July. Along with other specialty items, the corn dog will be available to anyone visiting at our 951 Tasting Room today!
