We’ve been alluding to some recent changes and upgrades to our storefront. From the beginning, we were never just a “liquor store.” We were a gifts, goodies and spirits store. It was always our intention to eventually expand and provide more for our community. A community that I grew up in, raised our family in, helped to support when needed and continue to serve. Our next venture, while a little unorthodox but not uncommon, has always been in our long term plans. All of our children have worked for us and this will be no different.

As of 10am tomorrow, we will be having a soft opening for selling basic food, drinks(not alcohol) and new snacks. This is family venture that will not only expand our vision but be a learning experience.

We hope to see new faces and provide another viable option in our ever growing city. While we have been Columbia River Gifts & Spirits, we will continue to expand on our original name, Columbia River Gifts & Goodies and now, Kaia’s Kustom Drinks and Niko’s Dogs and Snacks.

As of now, their hours will be from 10am to 4pm, Monday-Saturday but hrs may vary as we move forward. Location remains at 119 SE Front St and will be at the front of our store. Look for updated signage and outdoor seating soon.

We will also have the ability to take orders thru direct message or in person. Hope to see or hear from you all soon.

Coming together nicely. Soft opening soon.

Our fundraiser raffle for a local club. Thanks to everyone who participated. Apologies for my son, he doesn’t quite know the bourbon lingo like I do. Lol

Completed this re-finishing of what I assume was an old corn tortilla press. I sanded, re-oiled, replaced the old hinges and reused what hardware I could. I thought this was possibly teak or mahogany at first but now I’m leaning towards it actually being granadillo wood. Either way, the was a perfect finish for this project. .crafty.creations

Picked this up today. Looks fairly old and well used. Going to refinish it for my wife. It’s a corn tortilla press made I think from teak or mahogany. It’s definitely a hardwood of some sorts. .crafty.creations
