Come in and try our new Camino Viejo Mexican Lager !
Camino Viejo pays homage to the “Old Road” that once served as a vital artery through the heart of Boerne. Long before the modern highways of the Hill Country, this historic path connected early settlers and travelers, weaving together the cultural fabric of the region. This lager captures that spirit of connection, blending traditional ingredients with a crisp, refreshing finish.
The Profile
The foundation of this brew is built on a thoughtful grain bill featuring Malto Mexico 2 Row and Rahr 6 Row, providing a sturdy, reliable base. The addition of Ireks Vienna malt introduces a subtle, toasted depth and a beautiful golden hue, while Flaked Corn ensures the quintessential light body and smooth mouthfeel of a classic Mexican lager.
To bring a modern brightness to this historic tribute, we utilized Zumo hops, known for their vibrant zest and lime-forward citrus notes. Fermented with the legendary 34-70 yeast strain, Camino Viejo is exceptionally clean, balanced, and easy-drinking.
