Bountiful Baskets has been saving thousands of people millions of dollars over the last 22 years!

How? It's super straightforward!

People in your town pool their money using www.BountifulBaskets.org on Mondays and Tuesdays, and because they are working together, they are able to purchase from a wholesaler at an extremely deep discount! Everyone involved is a volunteer, so there is no markup on the produce!

Everyone who is able to help, arrives an hour before pickup which is at a set time, often Saturday, and helps distribute the produce. Then everyone arrives at pickup time, and takes home their amazing deal!

When a bunch of "little guys" work together they all add up to a "big guy", and then they can make incredible deals for their group and save tons of money together!

Team work really does make this dream work!

Bountiful Baskets reminder! 🧺🥦

Hey everyone! Just a heads up, contribution time is open from Mondays ~noon (local) through Tuesday 10pm. If you want a basket this week, now's the time to hop on!

Quick refresher on the steps:
1. Go to the Bountiful Baskets website during the window
2. Click "Get my produce basket" (under Current Offerings)
3. Pick Idaho, log in, choose Ada County, and Boise
4. Select how many baskets (up to 3)
5. First time? Select Yes for the $3 first-time fee, bring your own container to haul produce home if you would like, otherwise we have them in boxes ready to go.
6. Add any extras you want (bread, extra packs, etc.)
7. Review everything, then check out, use the address tied to your card
8. Read & agree to the bullet points, then submit
9. Wait for the confirmation page & email

A few things to remember:
• Sites fill up fast, so earlier is better
• If your county/site isn't showing, it's full for the week, try again earlier next time
• If you get an error, check your Contribution History before resubmitting
• Pickup is a 20-minute window, check the site Friday night for any time changes
• We all volunteer occasionally, if you're able, plan to help out once every 6–8 times
• No refunds, but if something's damaged or missing, the site coordinator can submit a credit request (usually shows up in 4–6 weeks)

Cost: ~$18–$22 per basket + $1.50 processing fee each time. First-timers add $3.

Also — make sure your browser is up to date so the site works smoothly!

Happy contributing, everyone! 🥬🍎

This week, we are hoping for Corn, Pineapple, Bell Peppers, Mushrooms, Red Onions, and Summer Squash.

Celebrate Dad and the guys in your life who show up for you with a fun grilled dinner! I can just see it now, an awesome menu for the quintessential Summer Grill Dinner & Celebration.

You can make some beautiful Grilled Vegetable Skewers. If that doesn't sound good to you, you could serve Mexican Street Corn Salad! Any of these options can be served on their own, or with Barbecued Chicken, Grilled Steaks, or Fish Fillets! You can even serve Grilled Pineapple for dessert!

Whether you go with one of these meal plans or make your own, this pack will work up into something fabulous that will leave Dad (or whomever you choose to share your meal with) feeling full and celebrated!

No matter which store you go to, even with coupons, your contribution is still saving you money. Here is a comparison of how much the same produce costs at Fred Meyer vs Bountiful Basket. The same produce only costs $22.42 for your basket every two weeks and you can meet your neighbors!

Are you ready to enjoy your family, friends, and freedom while reflecting on the ultimate sacrifice that was freely made by so many brave soldiers?

Because of their sacrifice, we are blessed to choose where and how we worship, what we do for work, the food we want to eat, how we want to use land we own, where we want to travel, how we want to vote, and whether or not we agree with our elected officials. Most importantly, we have the freedom to voice our opinions even when they are not in alignment with what our elected officials have decided.

Gather with those you love this Memorial Day as you reflect on these things over the long weekend, and enjoy fruits and veg at a park or right in your own backyard!

Fresh Produce + Community = Bountiful Baskets

Have you heard of Bountiful Baskets?

Bountiful Baskets is a community co-op where families and neighbors come together to pool contributions and purchase fresh produce in bulk. Because we work together as a co-op, we’re able to help make fruits and vegetables more affordable for everyone!

Each week, participants receive a variety of fresh, seasonal produce, and the contents change regularly based on availability. It’s a fun and affordable way to try new foods, eat healthier, and support a community-focused program.

Contributions are OPEN now and close Tuesday at 10 PM

👉 Participate here: BountifulBaskets.org

📍 Pickup Location: McKinney x Northview
🗓 Pickup Time: 9am

No subscription required—join whenever it works for you! We’d love to have you participate this week.

Affordable Options for Healthy Food is a team effort and we are so grateful to have you on our team!

YOU do this is so many ways!

1) You Participate
- Without a group we don't have the purchasing power to go to a wholesaler and bring wholesale pricing to the public. - You may have options and choices about where you get produce, but not everyone has that luxury. Many families depend on the week in week out savings, and a large participant base makes sure produce wholesalers keep Bountiful Baskets as a customer.
- With supply chain disruptions it sure is nice having food from diverse sources coming into your community!

You Volunteer
- Boise is spearheaded by a Volunteer Site Coordinator (that’s me!), a Couple Backup Volunteer Sites Coordinators, and a few volunteers who show up when they can to help distribute.

3) You Spread the Word
- People often don't share when they are struggling to afford food for their table, but from the grateful notes we get we know people really are having a hard time right now. When you post pictures of the deals you get on your social media accounts those near and dear to you learn about options they have for healthy affordable food.
- People often don't share when their health is on the line. People you know are probably looking at some serious health concerns that could be helped by eating a greater assortment, and more healthy fresh foods!
