Wow! This book called to me as well as its counter part, The Journey. Incredible use of seasons, illustrations, and philosophy. This can be valued and enjoyed by ANY age! Truly profound book that I am proud to display on my bookshelf and to share with others. Thanks to Rediscovered Bookshop for having such an inviting space and knowledgeable/passionate staff as their enthusiasm confirmed that I needed this book and I couldn’t be more pleased. I encourage everyone to support this great local shop and check out what they have to offer as this book would be great to read as a family with emotional maturity development and I’m sure some great discussions with something you can revisit time and time again.

Hiked over 40 miles within Glacier National Park this last week. Rainy and beautiful with so many wildlife encounters. This is where I find my peace and become grounded.

Soup’s on! Fresh Pazole (slow roasted pork soup over hominy). Add in fresh ingredients like radishes, peppers, cabbage, carrots, celery, parsnips, onions, mushrooms, tomatoes, and herbs. Top it off with sour cream and a fresh blended red chili and garlic sauce.
This is sure to warm your soul and power pack your meal with all the vitamins and vibes you desire. $15 for a full serving, $25 for a double serving in one jar for two adults to share or for a second meal. You can arrange for picking up in Boise near BSU or I can deliver most anywhere in the valley for a $10 delivery fee. Hit me up if you’d like some of this heart warming deliciousness just in time for fall. Packaged as a complete, no hassle, gourmet meal that’s local, healthy, and fresh so that you get a savory, full flavor dish delivered to you. Simply heat the broth to a boil and pour over as many of the ingredients as you like (I recommend them all for that perfect balance). Let sit for two minutes and enjoy. Served in one container for hominy and toppings and a reusable glass mason jar with the broth. Return the mason jar with following orders to receive $1 off for each jar returned.

I am a steward of the forest and waterways. Today while writing and meditating by the cool running waters I noticed several pieces of human trash polluting my beautiful scene. Grabbed my walking stick and took these items out to dispose of. While washing my hands I noticed more and thus proceeded to spend 20 minutes cleaning the area.
I cannot control what others do. I CAN make a CHOICE to be a force that leaves the earth better than I found it. CHOOSE to BE the change you wish to see. I challenge you to not ignore that random piece of trash left by someone other than you and to choose to do something about it and help our planet when you see she is distressed.

Yes!!!! My thoughts on hiking exactly. Hiking is for experience and immersion. If your goal is the destination, then you are not truly seeing. I think there is also something to be said about the importance of being OPEN to experience anything that might be shown and therefore opening the ability to behold new majestic beauty and thought provoking insights.

Showing homes to wonderful clients and found this beautiful and unique log cabin in Meridian. At another home, we found double doors complete with sliding screen. To which my client said, “Look! Fancy people stuff!” We all had a good laugh.
