Season greetings from our shrimp farm. I wanted to inform you about our current shrimp products and prices. We have 21/30 count headless at $7.50/lb; 36/40 P&D at $7/lb; 31/35 P&D at $8/lb and some 16/20 P&D at $9.50/lb. All shrimp are individually quick frozen in 2-lb bags.

Its too late for Thanksgiving purchases, but Christmas and New Year celebrations are just around the bend. We are open whenever i am at the farm, which is most of the time. Never too early or too late to come by. Call first to make sure i have not run to do an errand. 334-507-4715.

Greetings from Greene Prairie Aquafarm, LLC. It has been a couple of years since I have posted anything on FB. Trying to become active again.

I wanted to inform you all that we have several sizes of headless shrimp at the farm in 2-lb bags ranging from 31/40 to 21/25. All IQF. Prices range from $6.50 to $7.50/lb.

We also have added super jumbo 16/20 peeled and deveined for $8.60/lb. Stock up for Thanksgiving!

Since 2001, Greene Prairie Shrimp has been pioneering the production of saltwater shrimp in West Alabama. Located 150 miles from the Gulf Coast, Greene Prairie works hard to develop an all natural product. Our shrimp are pond raised using sustainable farming practices free from chemicals, antibiotics, and preservatives. We sell our shrimp in both the retail and wholesale markets. Our shrimp are available as a fresh product during the harvesting season (September-October) and as a frozen product throughout the year. Greene Prairie Shrimp’s vision is to develop a commercial shrimp business that produces an all natural, superior quality shrimp while demonstrating good stewardship of our environment. We want our business to be a good neighbor and to serve as a catalyst for developing a permanent aquaculture industry in West Alabama.
