Spira Farms Microgreens are now available in ALL Mariano's - you can pick them up TODAY all over Illinois and for the first time Wisconsin!

We've worked tirelessly to make leafy greens available to the community locally to ensure freshness.

Freshness is the #1 part about leafy greens, the nutrition is amazing but it breaks down faster than fruits and roots.

Microgreens are LOADED with vitamins, minerals, anti-inflammatories, and anti-oxidants.

All packaging is made of 🌽. Yes really what we are holding is the pictures is not plastic.

No pesticides are ever added (no bugs indoors, no need!)

All of our products are grown with love by a team who love what we are doing.

We had the opportunity to work closely with

Their chefs had asked for a variety if Cilantro we hadn't seen. They sent us a picture and we got to researching.

We found a few varieties, and agreed that Confetti Cilantro was what we were searching for. It has whiskier looking leaf structure, but tastes very similar to Cilantro.

We love these little challenges to try to grow som**hing new. Thank you K**a team!!

Ever heard of Vitamin U?

Its a real thig, although Vitamin U is a nickname. Its real name is S-m**hylm**hionine which feels unfortunate because it sounds like m**h 😅

There were studies done on patients with ulcers, and they found the properties of cabbage really helped those patients out!

We grow a ton of cabbage, and while I didnt have an ulcer I was having very similar symptoms to them (Ive had ulcers caused by H.Pylori it's awful).

To help with that problem I started consuming a lot of our Rainbow Mix.

After a few days of being caffeine free and eating cabbage, I was back to my normal self.

I kind of feel weird talking about this 🫣

Ive had multiple people talk to me completely unprompted about breast milk. Great conversation, just with a guy who has had no exposure to babies, breast milk or anything of that nature, the cultural norms I just didn't know.

Every one of them gave incredible feedback of their milk production after eating microgreens. Great marketing for us, I just didnt know how to use that information (and honestly just as a man felt it isn't my place).

Having researched it, many women are lacking Vitamin D, E, Selenium, and Manganese. Som**hing microgreens are super packed with but we dont talk about it enough.

Having our own daughter now, we really feel the impacts of our nutritious lifestyle. We have a really strong baby, a really healthy breast milk food supply.

Ive had no life taking care of plants for 5 years. You can see a huge difference when we have great fertilizer and light on leafy greens. You give them great food, you get healthy strong plants.

The same thing applies to humans, good food in, 💪💪 out.

I've been a little absent.

This week, Cait and I are expecting our first child to be born. As upcoming first time parents, we are learning in real time what this whole experience is like.

I've had to step back in a few areas as a result, one of those being social media so I can take on more responsibilities from the farm from Cait.

Thank you everyone for your support and patience while we undergo this miracle!
