aragorn farm Recently Relocated to Bolivar, MO. Unique holstein herd and shorthorn herd that almost entirely descends from Bendy-Brook odyssey favorite EX 92.

With the exception of 3 head that trace back to Roxy, all the animals in the herd trace back to favorite, mostly maternally but a handful paternally and some both ways. We love to show, but our program is focused on low cost production on our hybrid grass/confinement system with an emphasis on DPR, component percentages and strength.

We decided to try a new approach last year to add some power back to our herd. We had used some old bulls intermittently and weren't thrilled with results even with occasional success. We had seen the Big Malki photos online and dug into he and his sire. This led to his brother with a pedigree we also desired, VVH Repairman. We have some calves from each and so far they are encouraging. The black ones are malkis and white ones are repairmans.
