I took these pictures of my boys a couple days ago. The sun is out today, but the landscape looks about the same. Maybe a little more snow.
All five guys are getting along well, so we let them run together. It sure makes chores easier!

Fun fact: Henry, Sig, and Radar are Myotonic (fainter) wethers (castrated males). They are companions for Tuxedo and George, the breeding bucks. Goats are tribe animals, and do not do well alone.
I do not keep my bucks in with my does. I do whatās called hand breeding. That means when I see a doe in heat, and I want her bred that cycle, I take her to the buck of my choice for breeding. This way I know for sure when she was bred, by who, and when sheās due.
Since the fainter boys have been castrated (neutered), I donāt have to worry about them potentially breeding the does. So theyāre left in the breeding pen and do their best to interrupt the action, just because they can. š
Except for in Georgeās case. He and his ladies (Polyester, Karen, and Bella) get special treatment and go to the barn for their romantic rendezvous. Why? Because thatās the only way to prevent Tuxedo from crashing their party and breeding that doe too. š¤¦š»āāļø
