…and how much more does our Father care for us?

Many of y'all have been following along on Rocky’s journey. Here is the recap of it. Premature calves have a very low chance of surviving. It’s a miracle he’s made it this far, and we aren’t naive to the reality a lot could still happen. There may be severe internal issues that we don’t know about, some things could come to light in the next few weeks. Regardless the last 7 days have been a blessing. We’re thanking God for all He has done with Rocky and more so—what he has shown us about Christ and our relationship with Him through this all. We’ve been inspired to write a children’s book on it. Coming soon. 🤍

There’s always gonna be those voices and lies. Ain’t it beautiful that whatever industry you’re in…when you’re doing it for Christ, those voices don’t rattle or sway you—but are silenced? We don’t get our orders and approval from the world. With every struggle, harvest, new life or loss— God teaches us and refines our faith. He knows how to care for his creation. We are grateful to for the opportunities he has given us to look after his animals and land. Don’t waste your time trying to explain to the critics & those that don’t care to understand. Our job is to keep showing up + working for Christ.

Waking up to find new life in the pasture never gets old. There’s a lot of work in farming with preparing and maintaining the animals and land, however some of the best work and growth often happens when we step away. Letting the ground and animals rest. We are continually reminded of His goodness and hand in everything that’s beautiful, and humbled to know that it is not our own doing, yet He invites us to be apart of it.

We rescued Adalita last year and are excited to announce that we found her a forever home at ! She is staying in the family. Make sure to stop by and say hi if you’re in the OKC area.
