Jess battled it out in the fastest class (500) and drove amazing despite all the setbacks she had.
-Jess Winter Showdown Recap-
Night 1:
Qualified 3rd out of 24 cars
Heat 1- Started P1, motor blew up coming to the checkered flag and finished 6th.
Had to do a quick motor swap before heat 2… Huge thanks to Jimmy at QRC for the motor and everyone who helped swap motors in between heat races.
Heat 2- Started P6, finished P5.
B main- Started P9, finished P3 (Top 4 transfer to A)
A main- Started P13, finished P7.
We were able to move forward in the mains despite a few rough heat races, which set us up good for the final night.
Night 2:
Heat- Started P2, took the lead on lap 1, and got wiped out a few laps in. Battled back to P2 with a bent axel to transfer to the A main.
A main- Started P5 off the redraw, got to 4th early on, and got forced into another incident after a restart. After getting sent to the back, we made it back up to finish 8th.
