Big Thank You to Adam with Marshall Livestock Services for coming out to trim up a few of the girls hooves! Incredibly professional and knowledgeable, Adam made the whole process a breeze. Out of 65 head we only had 9 that needed minor trim work. Finally got enough dry days in a row to make it work out!

We would like to introduce the newest addition to our AHCA registered fold. This is NTR Penelope ( #72279) whom we purchased from Gina Gettler at HighPoint Highlands. Gina has a great eye for up and coming heifers and this one does not disappoint! Penelope was Grand Champion at the Iowa State Fair this year as well as Champion Intermediate Yearling Heifer at the 2026 NCHCA NorthStar Highland Show in Minnesota this past weekend! We look forward to continuing her show career and see how this young lady continues to amaze us!!

Well it has taken a week but we have finally recovered from our fair hangover! Between showing Highlands and our business having a display there (our 25th year at the IA State Fair) it was an incredibly busy 11 days. We want to thank all of our friends for stopping by and seeing us in the cattle barn as well as all of the other Highland cattle folks! We learned so much during the show that we can use going forward. The other Highland show farms were incredibly helpful and gave us a lot of good advice. We made many new friends and can’t wait until next year!
