Henry Long, founder of Sweet Grace Orchard, will be at Ransom’s with his portable observation beehive to share his knowledge and passion for bees. This is a great opportunity to learn how bees work so hard to make honey and what it takes to keep them.

Henry’s beekeeping journey began at just 10 years old, when he cared for bees on his own using knowledge from library books. Today, he keeps bees year-round in observation hives inside his home, including a one-of-a-kind 21 deep frame observation hive that he designed and built himself.

🐝 Henry has been published in the American Bee Journal
🐝 His observation hive has appeared in Bee Culture Magazine
🐝 He currently serves as President of the Parkland Beekeepers Association

Today, we are extracting honey from our out apiary which is located at the spring where LaRue artesian spring water comes from. Local honey paired with local spring water.
