I often think of my home with the deepest sense of gratitude. ♥️

My family. The sunrises and sunsets. The land. The animals. Our wooden log home. The gas stove in our kitchen. The love. The community. The little moments and special memories we make every single day.

There is something so beautiful about this holistic environment in which I get to raise my babies, surrounded by nature, animals, hard work, faith, love, and the simple rhythms of home.

There is so much here to linger over.
So much to savor.
So much to be thankful for.

And wherever I go, I find myself missing home.

Because home, to me, isn’t just a place.

We started out with one Guernsey Cow Carrot and selling raw milk from my kitchen counter. I had my baby Sue in my belly back then.

Now six Dairy Cows, three Guernseys and three Jerseys, full cream and raw, all located in our little farm store The Sparrow’s Nest.

I want to say it was all of our hard work that paid off, but really God provided the vision, John and said yes, and we have had a lot of help to make the vision a reality.

I brewed a pot of coffee in my store kitchen today, put some mugs (not paper cups), actual mugs you can just put in the sink after drinking, next to it, honey and a small stainless thing of raw creamer.

When you’re shopping at my store, feel free to grab a cup.I can’t find a wooden board to write the sign on it so I’m just posting about it. 😅 It is the small things.
