Harvested back in September 2021, Bonsall Red, an estate blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Sangiovese has taken its sweet time getting to the glass.
After 24 months in oak barrels and another two and a half years resting in the bottle, the magic of time is finally showing off.
The initial lively acidity of the Sangiovese has finally relaxed, bringing a smooth, refreshing brightness. Meanwhile, the Cabernet Franc has stepped into the spotlight, bringing forward beautiful notes of spices, herbs, and structured elegance that perfectly balance the plush fruit of the Merlot.
It’s complex, it’s evolving, and it’s a beautiful reminder that great things come to those who wait. 🍷✨
