What really happened to Horse Spirit Ranch?

Horse Spirit Ranch operated successfully for over 12 years.
Cost of operations increased during the Covid epidemic. The price of feeding horses increased because of supply chain shortages.

Rumors were started and people were misled.

The owner of the property upon which Horse Spirit Ranch is located was also
misled.

The lease for Horse Spirit Ranch was terminated abruptly with no reasonable explanation.

Boarders on the ranch were removed with no reasonable explanation and
property on the ranch was illegally seized. This resulted in an inability of Horse Spirit Ranch to operate and care for horses.

So Horse Spirit Ranch was out of business ……and the horses cried. :
“For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evils. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs.” 1 Timothy 6:10

Wow!

👋Say "Hi" to REINS Student of the month... Colleen!

🐴Colleen has been riding at REINS for several years and has really become one of my cherished friends. When I pop out of the office and see her smiling face sitting under the pepper tree, I know that my day is about to get a little brighter and a little more fun!
🥇She has a way of engaging our whole team in a dynamic discussion of her favorite tv shows, football highlights, and usually a scary movie or yummy place to eat. Although, she is into definitely into shopping and make-up, Colleen also concentrates diligently on being a savvy horsewoman as well. She and her buddy Finn, the Norwegian Fjord, are great partners in the arena, maneuvering through the obstacles and finding the perfect spot to shoot hoops.
🏀Colleen has an eagle eye when it comes to basketball, and we usually finish up the ride with some cheering, whooping, and hollering at the hoop. Finn, being Finn just keeps his stoic demeanor and calmly takes us back to the ramp while we are being loud and boisterous.
🎨Colleen is also an esteemed artist that has gifted her weekly team paintings for years now. The volunteers that have received her paintings are usually surprised and touched deeply, which signifies the heart of Colleen. She is truly one of a kind and I am so blessed to have her in my life.

We have received many questions regarding the EHV outbreak in our area. Our recommendations include:
-Stay safe at your home facility for at least 14-28 days. This includes trail rides and other activities off your home facility.
- If you have to leave, quarantine all horses who left the facility for 10-14 days upon return while performing daily temperature checks
- Ensure your horses have been vaccinated for EHV-1 & 4 in the last 6 months.
- Practice good biosecurity. Don’t share feed and water buckets. Don’t share bits. Don’t dunk the hose into the water bucket while filling, the hose acts as a transporter of the virus to the next bucket it is dunked in. Don’t pet a sick horse and then pet a healthy horse without washing your hands.
