I'm an "eat the w**ds" kinda gal. I love a good useful w**d.
There are so many uses for w**ds. These include being edible, being livestock feed, being a trap crop, being great for pollinators, being medicinal or even being great for the soil.
However if you see the w**d pictured in the last 3 photos, YANK IT AND BURN IT!
Hedge mustard (Sisymbrium officinale) is the bane of my existence! NOTHING eats it. It chokes out EVERYTHING around it. It is supposedly edible and medicinal. I don't care! The only good thing about it is that it pulls up easily. I have pulled up 9 feed bags PACKED full of this crap so far this year, probably 250 # or more!

I have listed what each plant is on the pictures and included what uses it has.

This spring my grandson brought over a bag full of acorns. I thought it would be fun to see if any would sprout. We had an amazing amount sprout. There were so many though that I ended up putting a few handfuls in a big pot. I recently took what sprouted and transplanted them into individual pots. About 1/2 survived.

Any tips for transplanting oak seedlings? I'd definitely appreciate any help regarding overwintering too.
