Enjoyed hosting some farmers and agri businessman from Argentina this morning that are here for the Farm progress show. Always interesting to be able to talk with farmers from other areas and compare farming practices and things we do alike. Thanks Spraytec Fertilizers for setting it up.

Had the opportunity the last couple of weeks to share our farm’ s conservation story. It’s always fun to get to share how we farm with other interested individuals. I worked with Iowa State Extension talking to landowners about conservation and presented to farmers at a Beaver Creek Watershed field day on cover crops. I was also on a panel at Watershed26 in Des Moines where I fielded questions from corporate sustainability representatives. I believe it’s important to take the time to educate others on conservation practices to make Iowa better!

Stop by Thursday April 2nd and refresh yourself on cover crop termination and bring any questions you may have.
