Somehow there is a post from last year (2017) going around. I just want to clarify, this year's (2018) hay is $8.00 per bale for small bales and $160 - $180 for big bales.

After a few breakdowns and a couple of sticky situations, we finally were able to knock down some hay. We cut some grass/alfalfa mix and some straight alfalfa. Should bale within about a week.

With all this rain we have been waiting to cut any hay. Hopefully with a few more days of dry weather we will start knocking some down by the beginning of next week.
