When life gives you rain, you make lemonade no wait that’s not it. When life gives you 95% humidity, you make anti frizz serum!! lol Great week to field test the new anti frizz serum spray. With my curly hair I’ve had my hair in a bun for 11 years because there was just no point. I tried lots of anti frizz sprays and gels and finally gave up. But with my new conditioner bar and this anti frizz spray maybe it’s possible to actually tame this mane? Solving my problems one at a time and bringing the solutions to you. 😊

Well I can officially say that the new deodorant works. It’s now 6:30 pm still 87 degrees with 53% humidity no air conditioning and while my brain is melted my deodorant is still deodorizing. lol One of the other things I’m super proud of with this formula is that it doesn’t come off even on my black sundress, no white residue, no goopy, no dry and tight, and no greasy feeling just soft and dry. I’ve tested a bunch of other natural deodorants while I was on a quest to create this one. So thanks to Heather who kept on me year after year while I pondered and researched how I wanted to make it, I’m quite satisfied with the results. I should have it in all the personal care scents in the coming weeks. 😊 I brought it to market this past weekend in wildflower and salt&stone.

Okay had to share these little paint cans are so cute and they hold beeswax wrap blend for making food wraps. They’ll be at market Saturday. No mess, no dedicated cookware….game changer😉 This will be a soft opening for Stone Gully because I just got my display racks welded last week and honestly I have soooo much to bring to market and now I just need to build the displays. I can say for the next few months the booth will get bigger every week. 😁

Update: the dogs have come back and been identified as three great pyrenees and a shepherd type Theyre in the hwy 25 area outside Berea. If anyone knows whos dogs they might be please let us know.

I got a terrible call yesterday from a dear sheep friend here in Kentucky, her flock had been attacked overnight by domestic dogs. It was by far the most horrific dog attack I’ve ever seen. I held sheep while the vet stitched them up, we stitched up 45 sheep and doctored even more. There were significant losses and I’m sure more to come in the next few days. The poor girls were all pregnant too due to start lambing in may, just awful. If anyone lives in the Berea area we’re on the hunt for the owners of two big Pyrenees looking dogs and German shepherd type that their irresponsible owner let out to run they’ve caused a huge loss for my dear friend it’s just so unfair. I will say when I got home I gave each of my five Maremma guardian dogs extra affection and appreciation for the job they do. I’m waking up this morning sore and tired but it’s nothing compared to the next month or so of twice a day doctoring that my friend must now face. Everyone send your thoughts and prayers to my dear friend and her flock, they still have a long road to go.

Holy moly gang!! I’ve been building an eye and décolletage serum all winter and I completed it today. It has no fillers and more actives than the super high end serums. I studied all the $85-$125 serums and I wanted it for myself but better so I built it and it’s spectacular!! I’ll be offering a 1ml roller ball sample size so everyone can try it. 😁

I was talking to a fellow crafter friend yesterday and talking about things I was excited about that I’m making. We got on the topic of winter and everything I’d been working on over the winter and I had to laugh when I said yep I spent the winter failing. What everyone sees at market are the things that worked not the 80-90% of things I tried before that that didn’t. I think the key to any success is the willingness to fail over and over again until you don’t. Just a thought for today. I’m weighing out packets of colored candle sand at the moment for some fun layered candles coming to market this spring. Also testing the new wax blend finally with fragrance oil after months of testing and curing plain wax candles to get the new beeswax blend to perform just right lots of failing but it makes todays success and vanilla lotus candles filling the room smell even sweeter. So many fun things coming your way! I even had fun cleaning the kitchen yesterday the new solid dish soap is amazing longer hang time for foam and even better cleaning, it really excels at silverware. And the lavender Luxe scrub smells amazing, cleans the sink without scratching or that fingernails on the chalkboard feeling. Used the new peppermint glass cleaner to clean the microwave also smells absolutely amazing. I’m getting excited to bring everything to market soon. 😁
