Introducing: Veda Renee Ranunculus

Earlier this year I was traveling Europe with a group of cut flower growers and we visited an amazing ranunculus breeder in France. We instantly fell in love with this unnamed variety. Somehow over the course of a two hour lunch I was given permission to not only name the variety but also introduce it to the United States. Corms are EXTREMELY LIMITED.

It will be part of my fall bulb sale which launches tomorrow, along with some additional incredible varieties of ranunculus, anemone, tulips, peonies and daffodils.

Website sale will open at 10am EST Saturday August 29. I am only able to ship to the United States. Corms/bulbs ship in October.

It’s been such a beautiful thing to watch people enjoy spaces that are usually private at the farm. It’s so heartwarming- It’s making me super happy and thankful! 🥰💞

The guy who is to blame for MOST of the perennials on my property stopped in for a visit this week 🤭

Dave Dowling has been an amazing teacher for the past 7 years. We walked the farm and just yapped for a couple hours as flower friends do! The dahlias are FINALLY starting to bloom- but alas, plant late, bloom late!

Can’t wait to see Dave and my other flower friends this fall as we visit 3 Porch Farm and Daniel Schavey on our ASCFG farm tour loop 💞🤭💐🌻🥰

Limelight Hydrangea Field Experience

Step into a field filled with 180 blooming Limelight hydrangeas at Flower Hill Farm!

Your $20 ticket includes admission for one to wander through the hydrangea field, take photos, selfies and videos, and enjoy a peaceful summer experience surrounded by hundreds of beautiful blooms. Before you leave, you’ll be invited to cut an armful of Limelight hydrangeas to take home and enjoy fresh, or dry for a display that can last for months.

Each ticket includes:

• Admission to the hydrangea field
• Personal photos, selfies and videos
• One armful of hydrangea blooms to take home

TICKETS ARE PER PERSON. More than one person will not be admitted with one ticket. This is to keep the limit of 10 people in the field at one time. If you need someone to help you take photos, Nicole will be there!

Large group or families- reach out for package options.

Expect to spend 30-45 minutes in the field. Time limit is one hour so the next group has their own time.

Please bring your own container or bucket for transporting your flowers home. We will provide the clippers for you to borrow. We recommend comfortable, closed-toe shoes, as this is a working farm and the ground may be uneven.

Tickets are limited to protect the field and give every guest plenty of room to enjoy the experience. Advance ticket purchase is required.

Location: Flower Hill Farm, 11785 State Route 12, Boonville, New York
Date and time: Tuesday and Fridays. Multiple time slots available.

Park by the Dollhouse. This does include a bit of a walk up the hill to the field.

Hi! Welcome to Flower Hill Farm. We now have two locations! We operate a retail store with greenhouses called our Boon Street Nursery location. We grow thousands of annuals, vegetables and herbs for sale in spring. We also grow and sell mums in the fall! Our original location is the farm, which is also our private residence. We grow cut flowers, vegetables and more there. We will be debuting a farmstand at the farm in Summer 2025. Otherwise, the farm is private and not open to the public to visitation. Stay tuned for a ticketed tour option for late 2025.
