Shearing day! We are down to 11 beautiful alpacas and forever appreciative of Shearbliss and his team in helping us get these fluffy animals cleaned up for the heat.

If you need a large number of alpacas shaved down, these guys are quick, gentle and all around great people to work with.

And look at Siegfried’s fleece!

We appreciate everyone’s support while we worked through some construction and unexpected events here at the farm.

We have had an amazing time getting to know you all and have some incredible memories over the last year and a half.

Unfortunately, due to hurdles that we have been unable to overcome, we will be shutting down Purple Alpaca and listing the farm for sale (coming soon with glamping business opportunity). As we begin to close our doors, please reach out if you may be interested in product, fiber, alpacas and keep an eye out for other items we will be liquidating.

The alpaca yarn makes him snuggly soft. You know, in case you ever wanted to snuggle a stomach.
