EP. 1 | 6 Things I believe in:
- Every order tells a story. Whether that’s about the occasion for someone special or something special happening in your life your order is baked to celebrate, a nostalgic flavor that reminds you of your childhood, or something new you’re looking to try!
- Don’t bake when you’re upset. I believe mood can be felt through the song you sing, the photos you capture, and the cake you bake. In any kind of artistry, love can be felt, whether that’s heard, seen or tasted.
- Every effort is intentional :)🫶🏼
- Putting myself out there. Network, pitch, offer, be open, be willing, and make the efforts as your own #1 hype person, because that’s how you grow interest, confidence, stay in people’s minds, and attract opportunities.
- Doing it all. I wear many hats — from baker to accountant, marketing to photography, social media to web designer, and more. Honoring my own boundaries of what I can accommodate is a challenge for me I’m always working to get better at as someone who almost never says no, but the other side to that is that my passion drive truly push me as a highly self-motivated person to do it all, do it well, and do it with enjoyment.
- Handcrafted desserts that are custom created, artistically designed, thoughtfully presented, and baked-to-order, are NOT equivalent to store-bought cakes, bulk grocery store cookies, and average boxed mixes. From the time, commitment, equipment, practice, planning and details involved in the actual desserts, to the willingness, patience, transparency, communication, energy, and taste, attention to uniformity, and everything else it takes to actually run a time-intensive, client-facing business all on your own. So while there is no “bulk discount” for ordering 50 cookies vs. 5, because BTS your order will now take 10x everything originally involved :), the price you pay reflects the quality of what you order made from no mass production machines, but all individual effort and investment!! 💯🤍
